European Green Deal Barometer: Share your views on the implementation of the Green Deal!

What’s next for the Green Deal? Contribute to the second edition of the European Green Deal Barometer, IEEP’s annual consultation on the implementation status of the Green Deal.

While the EU is recalibrating its views on energy and food security as a reaction to the war in Ukraine, and in view of the IPCC’s latest warning, ensuring that the Green Deal is implemented in all its forms and objectives is more important than ever.

Every year, IEEP asks sustainability experts for their views on potential pathways for delivering on the European Green Deal objectives. The Barometer analyses the progress made and identifies gaps and opportunities, serving as a “confidence barometer” on the implementation of the Green Deal. For its second edition, the Barometer will also include insights from surveys at national level in France, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Spain to examine the political space for action in countries holding the current and upcoming EU Presidencies. The survey has been set up in collaboration with GlobeScan.

Depending on your answers, the survey takes about fifteen minutes to complete. Your answers will be fundamental to providing a wider representation of opinions.

The first edition of the European Green Deal Barometer is available here.

The first results of the Barometer will be presented during the bi-annual Think2030 conference, which will take place in Paris on 29 and 30 June. More information will be shared soon on the Think2030 website.

Launched by IEEP in 2018, Think2030 is an evidence-based, non-partisan platform of leading policy experts from European think tanks, civil society, the private sector, and local authorities.
