The Manual: Chapter 12 - Funding instruments

This publication forms a section of the Manual of European Environmental Policy, published by IEEP in 2012. This chapter sets out the EU's main funding instruments that have environmental implications. There is an initial overview section that sets out some background on the EU budget as well as important debates relating to the budget which have implications for the environment. Some of the funds include the: European Agriculture funds, the European Maritime and Fisheries Funds and the Structural and Cohesion funds.
