Guidance document for data collection and analysis – Assessing costs and benefits of potential incentive schemes for biodiversity conservation

The guidance document outlines the methodology used in the context of study ‘Complementary Financing for Environment in the Context of Accession – Innovative Sources’. This study was carried out by WWF and IEEP for the European Commission with a view to analyse the possibilities for establishing PES schemes for biodiversity conservation in two new EU Member States and three Candidate Countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Romania and Turkey).
