We offer different opportunities for working with us, depending on experience.
Our student placement programme is a specially designed programme that offers students an opportunity to engage in meaningful work within one of IEEP teams for a period of 10-12 weeks. Opportunities within the student placement programme are published throughout the year depending on team’s activities and fall within the scope of the educational mandate of IEEP. The placements in the Student Programme are unpaid and can be conducted both remotely and onsite in Brussels, on a minimum 19h basis weekly on a flexible schedule. The placements are open to students who have the obligation of conducting a certain number of working hours within an organisation as part of their ongoing studies.
Graduate internships are offered during the year as the need arises, through the Policy Assistant calls under the CIP format (Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle). The positions are offered on a 6-month basis with a possibility of renewal for an additional 6 months. These positions are paid on the basis of the legally prescribed payments under the CIP format. Interns additionally enjoy all the regular benefits as standard employees, including leave allocation. Due to restrictions of the CIP format, these internships are offered only to graduates eligible to work in the EU and able to reside in Belgium.
Employment opportunities are offered during the year as the need arises, through the advertised calls standardly under the Belgian legislative framework, unless the specific opportunity is marked as a remote hire. Details on individual vacancies are detailed in each published call.
