This report details the results of a workshop organised by Peter Liese MEP, the Parliament’s rapporteur on the revised EU Emissions Trading Scheme. The workshop, attended by a selection of MEPs and environmental experts, facilitated discussion of the Commission’s proposal to include aviation emission in the revised EU ETS ahead of initial parliamentary debate on this topic in July 2007.
