Carla Coppola joined IEEP in 2021 and leads the communications and events team, managing and planning related IEEP activities. With 15 years of experience in Brussels, Carla is an expert in communications, public relations, branding, events marketing, stakeholder engagement and digital strategy. At IEEP, Carla oversees IEEP’s communications strategy, ensuring the organisation’s and all its activities’ visibility, both thematic and horizontal to the outside. Carla’s expertise lies in strategic development, planning and implementation of communications and events for corporate, non-profit, and European projects across both traditional and digital channels.

Before joining IEEP, she worked for membership associations including a public-private membership organisation focusing on innovative, urban and clean mobility.

Carla holds a Master’s degree in Communications Sciences from the University of Perugia (Italy) and an MA in European Cinema Studies from the University of Bath (UK). In addition to her native Italian, she speaks English and French.
