Edmond Lefebvre is a Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada) and has worked in accounting and finance for almost three decades. For twenty years, Edmond worked in environmental organisations including WWF International, International Union of Conservation for Nature, and Ramsar Convention on Wetlands. For the last several years, Edmond has worked for humanitarian organisations and currently works for the International Committee of the Red Cross.

A graduate of the University of Calgary, Edmond started his NGO working life at the Calgary Zoological Society. He currently resides in Switzerland with his wife Susan and daughter Charlotte.
