Eline joined IEEP in March 2020 in the Global Challenges and SDGs programme where her work focuses on the integration of environment in the EU’s trade policy in addition to the external impacts of the EU’s internal environmental and climate policies on third countries. Her main work areas include EU free trade agreements and Trade and Sustainable Development Chapters, trade and circular economy, and the EU Deforestation Regulation.
Eline holds a MSc in Economics, specialising in environmental policy and development economics from the University of Ghent. She is a native speaker in both English and Dutch.
