Darragh joined IEEP in May 2023 as a Communications and Media Officer. In his role, he is engaged in an array of communications and media activities across the organisation.

On the media front, Darragh acts as primary contact for media requests, liaising with journalists, organising press meetings, and pitching work in collaboration with the research team. In addition, he also coordinates the communications activities of the Green Trade Network.

Prior to joining Darragh held roles within the press team at the Irish Permanent Representation to the EU also worked at a Brussels-based consultancy specialising in media relation matters.

Darragh holds a graduate degree in environmental policy from University College Dublin and a bachelor’s degree in Geography. A native anglophone, he is also fluent in French.
