Climate Action Network Europe
Overview
Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe is the leading NGO coalition fighting dangerous climate change. CAN Europe empowers civil society organisations to influence the design and development of effective climate change policy in Europe, both in the European Union as well as in its Member States and in European countries outside the EU.
IEEP is a knowledge partner of CAN Europe and contributes to the network by providing science-based recommendations to be used for the engagement activity then run by the organisation. In particular, IEEP team members have actively contributed to the debate on key files for the European Green Deal’s implementation (e.g. Fit-for-55) and to the design of CAN-E’s strategy towards a more impactful and diverse engagement with the members of the network.
