World Resources Institute (WRI) and the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) will host a lively and solutions-focused event on 29 September in Brussels that puts one message front and centre: business is ready to implement the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

This multi stakeholder gathering brings together EU policymakers, business leaders, and civil society to showcase how companies across commodities and continents have prepared for the implementation of EUDR on 30 December this year. With the final adjustments now in place, businesses have invested heavily in compliance systems, traceability tools, and risk management solutions.
Speakers will share frank insights, practical lessons, and perspectives from companies and service providers leading the charge. The event will also feature a timely analysis on deforestation trends and forest fire risks, underscoring why the EUDR remains essential to Europe’s response to global forest loss.
