The UK Government’s recently launched Climate Change Programme is scrutinised in a new report. Internationally the UK has been a leader but on domestic policy it has been a laggard, falling short in the energy, transport and household sector. The report has been written by the Institute for European Environmental Policy for The All-Party Environment Group and will be released at 4pm on Wednesday 24th May at a meeting of the Group in Westminster. IEEP’s Director, David Baldock, will present the report and there will be a cross-party debate featuring Peter Ainsworth MP (Tory), Colin Challen MP (Labour) and Chris Huhne MP (Lib Dem).
