After three successful editions, we are now working on the fourth edition of the European Green Deal Barometer together with our partners. The Barometer is IEEP’s annual publication, gathering the views of sustainability experts on the developments and progress of the Green Deal. The survey is open until 26 February.
The annual European Green Deal Barometer asks sustainability experts their views on the different files of the European Green Deal including Biodiversity, Sustainable food systems or circular economy. The Barometer analyses the progress made and identifies gaps and opportunities, serving as a “confidence barometer” on European Green Deal implementation.
With the European elections taking place in 2024, this fourth edition will look at the resilience of the European Green Deal and the impact of these elections on its implementation. The future of the Green Deal and its external impact are key focus questions in the current European context.
International experts will be asked about the upcoming elections. Six case-studies countries will focus on the Members- States that recently held or will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union (France, Sweden, Spain, Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary). These case-studies contribute to the analysis, at the national level, of the Green Deal implementation.
The survey has been created in collaboration with Savanta and contains precious contributions of the survey partners from the Think2030 platform and the Think Sustainable Europe network. The survey is likely to take between 15-20 minutes. Respondents can complete the survey in more than one sitting, as the answers will be saved on the device.
