5 June 2023, 13:00 -14:30 CEST
Event co-organised by the Citizens’ Observatory on Green Deal Financing and the CEE Bankwatch Network.
About the event
Significant public investments have been made available to achieve the European Green Deal, however such funds require proper monitoring and scrutiny.
Join us for this Green Week webinar which will showcase how citizens can become part of the EU funds decision making process and help to ensure that they are used to deliver the transformation needed.
The session will cover the role of EU citizens as watchdogs, and how and why they are key actors in helping to achieve the goals of the European Green Deal.
The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
IEEP’s Martijn Pakker, head of Strategic Relations and Activities, will present the findings of the European Green Deal Barometer and what it indicates about the European Green Deal’s implementation.
The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session. Please see below for the full agenda and list of speakers.
