IEEP is the only Brussels-based think tank dedicated to EU environmental policy research and, for 50 years, has stood as a beacon for generations of experts and policymakers. IEEP provides strategic intelligence on how Europe can turn environmental policy into a driver of competitiveness, resilience, and innovation.

Our multidisciplinary team works with EU institutions, international organisations, academia, and civil society, providing integrated approaches and multiple perspectives across several research areas, including agri-food, biodiversity, land use, trade, climate, and the circular economy.

Through research, impactful communications, innovative policy recommendations, and cross-sector initiatives, and together with our partners and supporters, IEEP continues to drive critical conversations that can advance the transition toward a healthier planet and a more equitable future.
