Alice joined IEEP in April 2025 under the first EGU–IEEP Policy Mentoring Scheme. Her work focuses on policy development, research communication and stakeholder engagement in the environmental policy arena.
She also works as EU Policy Coordinator at the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), where she supports the integration of the ex-situ conservation perspective into the broader policy framework on biodiversity. Prior to this, Alice worked at the Italian Ministry of Agriculture in the Department for European and International Policies and Rural Development Department, managing EU programs on sustainable agriculture and climate change.
She holds a PhD in Agrobiodiversity and conducted academic research on ground and rove beetles as natural pest control agents. Alice speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish.
