Federico joined IEEP in February 2022 as Senior Policy Analyst for the Global Challenges and SDGs programme, where he mainly focuses on the interactions between EU trade and farm and food policies from a sustainability perspective. Federico also coordinates for IEEP the European Sustainable Agriculture Dialogue – ESAD.
Prior to joining IEEP, he worked for several years at the representation of the Regional Council of Brittany in Brussels. There, he was responsible for agriculture and climate policies, also coordinating the work of a network of European agricultural regions on the CAP reform process and the Farm to Fork strategy. He also previously worked as project manager for European interregional projects focusing on sustainable development for Brittany’s Innovation Agency in Rennes.
Federico holds a MSc in International Relations from the University of Bologna and he is visiting lecturer on EU policy making at the Institute of Political Studies in Lille.
