Elisabet joined the CAP and Food team in October 2022. Her work focuses on developing a sustainable food system in the EU and reducing the impacts of agriculture to the environment. Before joining IEEP, Elisabet worked for several years at the RISE Foundation, co-authoring several reports focused on the sustainable management of resources in agriculture. She also previously worked as a researcher at the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (Spain), and the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium), focusing on soil erosion and its impact on the carbon cycle.
Elisabet holds a BS in Environmental Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a PhD in Physical Geography from the University of Murcia. She is fluent in English, Catalan, Spanish and French.
