Emma joined the Climate and Circular Economy Team in July 2023 upon completing her MSc in Sustainable Development at Uppsala University, Sweden. She also holds a BSc in Business and Economics with an environmental orientation from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
Prior to joining the IEEP, Emma co-authored a paper on sustainable societal economics at the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation. She has experience of working with climate issues from co-founding Climate Students Sweden, an organization helping universities act in line with their own climate science.
Emma is a native Swedish speaker, fluent in English, and speaks German.
