Irene joined IEEP in April 2022 dealing with the Think Sustainable Europe (TSE) network and its activities. She also coordinates the European Green Deal Barometer and is involved in research projects supporting the thematic teams. Previously she worked at the Permanent Representation of Italy to the EU, at the European Parliament, and in a Brussels-based think tank. She holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Siena, and an advanced Master’s degree in European Law from the Institute of European Studies of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Irene is fluent in Italian, English and French, and has a good level of German.
