Krystyna joined IEEP in February 2023. Her research focuses on carbon farming practices, the role of market-based policy instruments and potential pathways within the agricultural and forestry sectors towards achieving climate policy objectives.

Prior to joining IEEP, Krystyna worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where she focused on Paris alignment assessment of project finance in the agribusiness sector. In her previous role at the UK-based non-profit organisation ShareAction, she conducted research on climate and biodiversity risk management approaches in the asset management and insurance industries.

Krystyna is fluent in English and Polish, with an intermediate knowledge of German and Swedish, and has an academic background in International Political Economy.
