Mattia joined IEEP in May 2019 as Executive Assistant to the Executive Director and Governance Officer. He is an experienced policy officer with a demonstrated history of working on inter-governmental relations and EU institutions. After his studies in International relations and diplomacy, he specialised in European affairs, in particular agriculture and regional development. With more than 5 years of experience in parliamentary policymaking, he developed an expertise in policy data analysis, public affairs and in team coordination. On 1 April 2022, Mattia was appointed Network and Governance Manager at IEEP. He is fluent in English, French and Italian (mother tongue) and he has basic knowledge of Spanish.
