Nora Hiller joined IEEP in 2019 and is a Senior Policy Analyst in the Global Challenges and SDGs team. She is involved in a variety of projects on the Sustainable Development Goals, deforestation and sustainable finance, particularly in relation to the EU Taxonomy and science-policy interface. From 2020-2023, she supported IEEP’s involvement in the Platform on Sustainable Finance, an independent expert group to the European Commission. Nora is experienced in stakeholder engagement and policy analysis on the topics of agriculture R&I and sustainable & resilient food systems.
Nora holds a MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in International Relations and International Organisation from the University of Groningen. Prior to joining IEEP, Nora did an internship in climate finance with the Climate Support Unit of the German Development Agency (GIZ) in Bonn. She works in English and German, and also speaks French and Dutch.
