Tijn joined the CAP and Food team in October 2024 as a visiting research fellow. His work focuses on generating evidence-based research into the impact from protein diversification on the transition to sustainable and resilient food systems.
Prior to joining the IEEP, Tijn was a strategy consultant and gained experience in generating impactful strategic insights and policy recommendations. He is part of the Food Transition Fellowship from the School for Moral Ambition. Tijn studied at the University of Amsterdam, where he obtained degrees in International Relations and International Management.
Tijn is a native Dutch speaker and is fluent in English as well.
