Suzie joined the Biodiversity and Ecosystems team in October 2022. Her area of expertise is EU nature and agriculture policy, and she enjoys working on projects supporting nature restoration and the transition to sustainable agriculture.

Prior to joining IEEP, Suzie worked for eight years at the Milieu law and policy consulting in Brussels. As a Policy Advisor, she worked on a multitude of projects for the EU institutions, primarily focusing on the implementation and evaluation of EU biodiversity and agriculture policy. She also previously worked as a Climate Change Policy officer for Europe at RSPB UK and undertook a traineeship at DG Environment in 2013.

Suzie holds an LLM in EU Environmental Law and Policy with distinction from the University of Kent. She is fluent in English, Slovakian, and Czech and has an advanced knowledge of Spanish.
