Robin joined IEEP in July 2023 as a Policy Assistant in the Land Use and Climate Team. He holds a Bachelor in European Studies and a Master’s Degree in European Integration and Global Studies from the Centre international de formation européenne.

His main work areas at IEEP include policies relevant to the use of forests, peatlands and other AFOLU sectors and their potential impact on EU climate objectives. Prior to joining IEEP, Robin completed a traineeship at the Council of the EU, where his work focused on the Nature Restoration Law and the Carbon Removal Certification Framework.

Robin is a native Dutch speaker and is fluent in English and French.
